Let us introduce you to Kirsie and her high-vibrational, sacred jewelry: Love & Drishti.
We have known Kirsie for a long time - she's been coming to offer pop-ups and events since our first tiny store in Wayzata (!) and we are now carrying her jewelry regularly.

Hi! Where do we find you right now? How has your day unfolded so far?
I just finished painting the cards, dyeing, and stamping my logo on the fabric bags that will accompany each one of the malas in my new Seeds of Intention Collection.
Let's start at the beginning... What did you want to do or be as a child?
Like many children, I was very creative, imaginative, and curious, and I loved all things relating to the arts and nature. I witnessed the most influential women in my life, my mother and grandmothers, creating so much beauty and abundance throughout their lives with their hands and minds.
I haven’t thought about this question in a while, and if you were to ask my childhood friends, teachers, and parents, they would say I’d grow up to be a writer. I wrote many short stories and poems, and received an award for a short story I wrote titled Survival in the Wilderness. It was a survival guide about a young girl, all alone in the wild, living solely on the resources nature provided, complete with hand-drawn illustrations and my recipes for things such as sassafras tea. Interesting that I knew then, but later forgot, that we already have, within us and around us, everything we need.
Do you see this childhood dream present in some shape or form today?
Yes. Everything comes full circle. As children, I think we are all
innately connected to the rhythms of nature and the universe, and as we walk through life and all of its complexities, we lose touch with that, unless we are fortunate enough to have an Aha moment that forces us to look within.
I think the childhood dream is present today in the way I research and study the things that I’m interested in very intensely. From the crystals and stones I use in my jewelry to the energy and intention for everything that I release from and take into my life.

What is the origin story of your business? How and why did you start?
I have been making jewelry for as far back as I can remember. I believe that hands are an extension of the heart, and making and gifting jewelry was and still is a way of expressing affection for the people in my life that I love.
What are the foundational values of your life? What is really important to you?
When I sit down to create a piece of jewelry, I am grateful and fully aware that my creativity comes from a divine source and so in my mind, that is who I make everything for...which unfortunately leads to a lot of scrapping of ideas that do not meet the high standard. Each piece of jewelry I create is inspired by nature and spirituality, and it is important to me that the quality and design of each piece is aesthetically pleasing, visually balanced, vibrationally charged, and intentional.

What is the story behing the name Love & Drishti??
The name of my business, Love & Drishti, was born from my love of yoga. Drishti is a term in yoga that is often referred to as a focal point to help one stay balanced in standing yoga poses, but the deeper meaning is about bringing one’s fullest attention and awareness to a singular point of focus. For me, that focus is spreading love and beauty through the creation of my jewelry and through the practice of yoga.
Each of your pieces is unique and handmade. Do you have a favorite that you created? And is there a part of the process that you like the most?
I don’t have a favorite. I love them all. Every time I finish a piece I say to myself, “I think I have to keep this one. I love it so much” but honestly, I feel so much love, gratitude, and satisfaction in seeing my jewelry go home with someone who loves it too. The part of the process I like most is when everything clicks. People may not realize that even when you’re dialed in, the design process takes a great deal of time and thought. It is very easy to copy someone else’s design, but the magic and the challenge is to come up with new and interesting ideas. To me, that is the difference between an artist and a manufacturer. I have no interest in the latter.

Where do you find nourishment? What practices bring you joy and inspiration?
I find nourishment in spending time with the people I love, and through self-care, which includes my kundalini yoga practice and other daily wellness rituals. I find joy in reading books and learning new things, and I am perpetually enrolled in courses to enrich my life in some way. I am fascinated with frequency and sound, and I utilize its technology daily. I enjoy painting, cooking, and making herbal remedies. I am inspired and awed by nature every single day, and I would rather be outdoors than anywhere else.

Is there something we did not ask and you want people to know?
I’d like to return to the theme of the second question, regarding the beginning of my journey as a child......I encourage everyone to go back there. To reflect on your childhood and explore what brought you joy; before you or anyone else talked you out of it and /or before life got so busy and you simply couldn’t find the time. Go there! Do it! There is so much joy, healing, and soul alignment there. It’s the special sauce.
