Jewelweed Men’s Circle: Building Masculine Community

Join Jewelweed Shop Manager Alec McKee for the first ever Jewelweed Men’s Circle — a gathering centered on connection, reflection, and authentic conversation.

Together, we’ll build community among men and masculine-identifying people while exploring themes of masculinity, identity, emotional life, relationships, purpose, and what it means to navigate the masculine experience in today’s world. Through guided prompts, open discussion, hot beverages, and shared snacks, we’ll create space to unpack, reflect on, challenge, and celebrate masculinity in all its complexity.

This is an inclusive, welcoming environment for honest dialogue, curiosity, and human connection. No prior experience with group work or men’s circles is needed.

Men and masculine-identifying people are warmly encouraged to attend.

Alec McKee

Alec is Jewelweed’s new Shop Manager and has a diverse background spanning outdoor education, guiding, coaching, professional musicianship, entrepreneurship, and leadership. He holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of St. Thomas.

Alec is excited about fostering meaningful connection among men, encouraging emotional openness, and exploring evolving understandings of masculine identity.
