Jewelweed is Moving

Due to events beyond our control, we must leave our current building by the end of January. The entire building will be torn down. Yes, this space we love so much and have poured our hearts into... This is a heartbreaking situation and, at the same time, an opportunity to reinvent ourselves. We are swimming in the unknown and reconciling ourselves with all the emotions brought by this situation: loss, freedom, disappointment, and hope.

Here is what we know:

• Jewelweed has always been a journey of trust. From our opening to every product, class, vendor, and workshop we have offered these past six and a half years, we have taken the time to feel if/what was right for us. We continue to do so, which means grounding ourselves in our values and staying away from fear, blame, and gossiping.

• We do not have a new location yet, and the timing is tricky at this time of year. Right now, we are focusing on offering our customers the most wonderful holiday experience possible with our best products and events.

• As usual, Jewelweed will close for inventory the first week of January. We will reopen on January 7th and definitively close our current location at the end of the month. We will most likely have a time gap before we open a new shop in March or April.

• We have a strong community, and your support has been so valuable to us over the years. Jewelweed would not exist without you. We are grateful for every person who walked into our store with an open heart and curiosity and sought greater balance, health, and wellness. We will come back to meet your needs in the same way we have
been doing - maybe even better?!

• We do not exactly know what we are looking for in a new space. Wayzata does not seem to have any availability that feels right, and we have been scouting new locations in the western suburbs since we heard the news. We are looking for a retail location with dreams of expanding, so we may need a little more space (a bit of outdoor space would be lovely). Can you help? Let us know if you have ideas or connections.

• Winter is a time for introspection and dreaming. We are conjuring and following our dreams for this next step. We invite you to do the same: take some time to clarify your desires and how they have changed from a few years ago, maybe even from the beginning of this year. Are you still following a direction you no longer want to reach?

• We live in a challenging time, and the astrology of the new year predicts that 2025 will be a year of significant (and sudden) changes. We all know the discomfort and heartache from loss and unwanted events. We are in that place right now. As we find ourselves and the shop amid these circumstances, we think about what can help us
navigate this situation. We go back to these practices.

20% off sale

At the end of January, we will have to pack up the entire store. Please make it easier on our hands by shopping our sale! We have so many good things in the shop right now!!! Until we close, everything (except Amy Sabatier jewelry) is 20% off.

We hope with all our hearts that your holidays are filled with nourishment, connection, joy, and a bit of magic!

XOXO,

The Jewelweed Team.
