This class is for those who want to get back to the roots of healing and start with the plant itself. In modern life, our connection with Nature and basic herbal knowledge has been lost and most herbal remedies now come in the form of capsules, tablets or drops. Julia Graves will help you understand the power of herbal medicine and the ancient traditional art of poultice making.
This class focuses on how to use applications of fresh or dried leaves, flowers, and roots in poultices, baths, and directly on the skin. You will learn how to make an effective herbal pack for wound healing or cramps, how to use herbal teas for poultices, baths, rinses, and much more.
This is a hands-on class, dress in comfortable loose clothes which can tolerate a stain.

Julia Graves is a master herbalist, Gestalt psychotherapist, classical homeopath, flower essence creator and author who brings 38 years of professional experience into her practice and teaching. Trained since childhood by her herbalist mother, Julia studied Traditional European Medicine, anthroposophic massage as well as cupping as a teenager. She then studied medicine at Kiel University for four years. Creator of the Lily Circle flower essences and author of The Language of Plants, she is the founder and director of the Naturopathic Clinic in Haiti founded after the earthquake, which has offered free treatment to over 100,000 people to date. An expressive and beloved presenter, Julia teaches internationally and brings her broad approach, experience, and traditional European background to her classes.
